The outcome
Fire-rated doors and glazed screens fitted to the specified fire rating within a live Cat A and Cat B fit-out.
Overview
This project involved the installation of fire-rated glazed doors and glazed office partitioning to a London office fit-out for Structure Tone. OMFC International was engaged to install the fire door sets and glazed partition screens, working within an occupied and part-finished office fit-out programme.
As with all OMFC International fire-rated installations, the works were carried out by qualified installers to the specified fire rating, with protective films left in place on frames and door furniture until practical completion to protect the finished product.
Scope of works
- Installation of fire-rated glazed door sets to office entrances and internal corridors.
- Installation of glazed office partitioning, including door frames and ironmongery.
- Coordination with the wider Cat A/Cat B fit-out programme on site.
- Deployment of a qualified, certificated installation team, using podium steps and mobile access equipment as required.
Installation process
