Overview

This project comprised the installation of glazed office partitioning and Fire PRO fire-rated door sets to an office fit-out in London for Overbury. On this project, the specification, materials and site management were provided by the appointed supplier and principal subcontractor; OMFC International’s role was to carry out the physical installation works in full accordance with that design and specification.

OMFC International’s qualified installation team fitted the glazed partition framing, glass and ironmongery, together with the Fire PRO fire-rated door sets, working to the drawings, materials and sequencing set out by the supplier and subcontractor. Our installers coordinated closely with the site’s management team throughout to ensure the works were carried out safely, accurately and to programme.

This installation-only scope reflects OMFC International’s flexibility to work within a client’s or main contractor’s existing supply chain, delivering precise, high-quality fitting of pre-specified materials rather than the full design-and-supply package, where that is what the project requires.

Scope of works

  1. Installation of glazed office partition framing, glazing and ironmongery, to materials and specification supplied by others.
  2. Installation of Fire PRO fire-rated door sets to office entrances and internal corridors, to the supplier’s specification.
  3. Site installation only. Materials procurement, design and overall site management were provided by the appointed supplier and principal subcontractor.
  4. Coordination with the subcontractor’s site management team and the wider office fit-out programme.
  5. Deployment of a qualified, certificated OMFC International installation team, using podium steps and access equipment as required.
